Marriage In The Eyes of AllahIt is very sad that this relationship which Allah (SWT) has established for the good has been made a source of contention, deception, trickery, tyranny, humiliation, and abuse. This is not the way marriage is supposed to be.

Allah (SWT) described marriage very differently in the Holy Quran: '. . . He created for you mates from among yourselves, that ye may dwell in tranquillity with them, and He has put love and mercy between your (hearts) . . . " (Holy Quran 30:21, Yusuf Ali Translation). 

Be Partners in the Decision Making Process.Follow the principle of 'Shura," and make decisions as a family. There will be much more harmony in the family when decisions are not imposed and everyone feels that they had some part in making them. 

Never be EmotionallyNever be emotionally, mentally, or physically abusive to your spouse. The Prophet (SAWS) never mistreated his wives. He is reported to have said: 'How could they beat their women in daytime as slaves and then sleep with them in the night?"

Be Careful of Your WordsBe very careful what you say when you are upset. Sometimes you will say things that you would never say when you were not angry. If you are angry, wait until you calm down before continuing the conversation.

Show AffectionShow affection for your mate. Be kind, gentle, and loving.

Be Your Spouse's FriendShow interest in your mate's life. Too often, we live in the same house but know nothing about each other's lives. It would be great if the husband and wife could work together for the same cause or on the same project. They could perhaps establish a husband/wife prison ministry, take care of orphans in their home, or lead an Islamic weekend class. 

Show AppreciationShow appreciation for what your spouse does for the family. Never make your husband feel that he is not doing good enough for the family or that you are not satisfied with his work or his efforts, unless, of course, he is truly lazy and not even trying to provide for the family. The Prophet (SAWS) was reported to have said: 'On the Day of Judgment, God will not look upon the woman who has been ungrateful to her husband." (where is this hadith found) Show your wife that you appreciate her. If she takes care of the house and the children, don't take it for granted. It is hard work, and no one likes to feel unappreciated. 

Work Together in the House
The Prophet (SAWS) is known to have helped his wives in the house. And if the Prophet (SAWS) was not above doing housework, modern Muslim husbands shouldn't feel that they are.

Communication is ImportantCommunication, Communication, Communication! This is the big word in counseling. And it should be. Husbands and wives need to talk to each other. It is better to deal with problems early and honestly than to let them pile up until an explosion occurs.

Forget Past ProblemsDon't bring up past problems once they have been solved.

Live SimplyDon't be jealous of those who seem to be living a more luxurious life than your family. The 'rizq" is from Allah (SWT). In order to develop the quality of contentment, look at those people who have less than you, not those who have more. Thank Allah (SWT) for the many blessings in your life. 

Give Your Spouse Time AloneIf your mate doesn't want to be with you all the time, it doesn't mean he or she doesn't love you. People need to be alone for various reasons. Sometimes they want to read, to think about their problems, or just to relax. Don't make them feel that they are committing a sin.

Admit Your MistakesWhen you make a mistake, admit it. When your mate makes a mistake, excuse him or her easily. If possible, never go to sleep angry with each other.

Physical Relationship is ImportantBe available to your mate sexually, and don't let your sexual relationship be characterized by selfishness. The Prophet (SAWS) was reported to have said: 'It is not appropriate that you fall upon your wives like a beast but you must send a message of love beforehand."

Have Meals TogetherTry to eat together as a family when possible. Show the cook and the dishwasher, whether it is the husband or the wife, appreciation for his or her efforts. The Prophet (SAWS) did not complain about food that was put before him.

Be Mindful of Your discussion TopicsNever discuss with others things about your marriage that your spouse wouldn't like you to discuss, unless there is an Islamic reason to do so. Some husbands and wives, believe it or not, complain to others about their mate's physical appearance. This is a recipe for disaster. Information about your intimate relations should be kept between you and your spouse.

Many of us treat our spouses in ways that we would never treat others. With others, we try to be polite, kind, and patient. With our spouses, we often do not show these courtesies. Of course, we are usually with our spouses at our worst times --- when we are tired and frustrated after a hard day. After a bad day at the office, husbands usually come home angry and on edge. The wife has probably also had a hard day with the children and the housework. Wives and husbands should discuss this potential time bomb so that if they are short-tempered with each other during these times, they will understand the reasons rather than automatically thinking that their spouse no longer loves them. 

Good marriages require patience, kindness, humility, sacrifice, empathy, love, understanding, forgiveness, and hard work. Following these principles should help any marriage to improve. The essence of them all can be summed up in one sentence: Always treat your spouse the way you would like to be treated. If you follow this rule, your marriage will have a much greater chance for success. If you discard this rule, failure is just around the corner.

Dah lame sangat2 I x update  blog ni kan... sobs.. =(  Been very busy with school and holidays... Owh actually I have something to share. Alhamdulillah I am officially a teacher.An English teacher. GOOD MORNING ALL!! Ecece... practise practise... test vocal kuat ke x.. hehe.. ok2... back to the story... Alhamdulillah syukur ke hadrat ILAHI, I have been posted not far away from my home. Alhamdulillah. Sangat bersyukur kepadaMU ya Allah. Alhamdullillah. Sekolah yang dimaksudkan ialah Sekolah Kebangsaan Padang Jawa. 15mins away from my house. with no bad traffic jam but only 5 traffic lights. So,since i teach in the evening session, around 12.45 dah kluar rumah dah .Guru yang konon2 berdedikasi.. hehe....InsyaAllah nk jadi seorang yang berdedikasi setiap masa... Alya jangan rajin sekarang je tau, pastu nanti dah malas2.. kena rajin sekarang dan berterusan ok.. insyaAllah.. ^_^ Alhamdulillah, I fell in love with this school since the first time we met... ecece... mcm lovers plak... Yer la.. I believe kita kne jatuh cinta dengan sekolah dlu so that kita akan semangat untuk berbakti kepada sekolah, anak murid dan juga berkhidmat dengan setulus hati.. Aminnn... How about the others? Guru Besar? Teachers? Staff? Students? Alhamdulillah.. semuanya baik-baik belaka... menerima kedatangan I dengan hati yang terbuka dan selalu memberikan kerjasama dan tunjuk ajar... Al-maklumlah, as a newcomer, mesti macam lost sikit sebab tempat baru.. Tapi, alhamdulillah, cikgu-cikgu dekat sini baik-baik sangat..Ok! i kena ajar year 3..ada 4 classes semuanya..so far so good...i get along well with the students...hehe...comel2 sgt mereka2 ni tau....lovelies, do pray 4 me ya!..really hope i could face all the ups and downs of teaching....So, basically dats what i've been doing so far.. Nanti kalau ade ape2 lagi I update lg ok..b4 tu...nak tunjuk skolah i dulu...jeng3

Assalamualaikum and hello EVERYONE!!


Harini nk update pasal REUNION. But not my reunion, my hubby's reunion with his UIA's friends. Where?? At e@curve damansara. So, pagi-pagi lg around 10.30 a.m. kiteorg dah pergi curve. Nak dating-dating dlu.. Jalan-jalan, makan-makan, shopping-shopping skit then around 2 barulah sumeorg gather. They planned to play bowling and I planned to sit and watch them play. Actually hubby ajak main, but rase malu plak nk tunjuk skill.. haha.. :P all boys kot so teman hubby jela. but i enjoyed tgk dieorg main. Al-maklumlah semua org lame xjumpe, so bley tahan havoc la.. Sambil2 main sambil tanye khabar, plus dgr lawak-lawak yang lame xdgr.. rindu plak zaman dkt u dlu.. hehe.. but nasib baik ade syikin, wife kwn hubby merangkap kwn hubby jgk. So we had chit-chat together sampai terlentok-lentok sebab sleepy zzZZZZ... bley plak kan.. haha.... and then dkt cni la bru tau syikin ade great news... (ops, tny die sendiri) hehe.. but actually b4 tu hubby dah dpt agak dah... rupa-rupanya mmg btul.. hebatla my hubby.. ade seventh sense.. :P Dah abis main semua, kiteorg pun pegi mengisi perut. dah abis energy main bowling, got to refill back. discuss pny discuss, we decided to go Waroeng Penyet!! mcm Ayam Penyet jgk la.. Dah lame xmkn! Last mase dating-dating dlu.. hehe,, sebab tu rase mcm excited... time tu, bak kate Joe(mmbr hubby) adalah sharing moment! Lepak dan lepak dan lepak... smpai maghrib... mmg lame.. hehe.. plus mase lepak tu, ade lg mmbr hubby yg baru smpai... so lpas solat pun, smbung balik lepak... mmg best sbb dah lame sgt xjumpe.. mcm2 cite keluar... hehe.. smpai la dah nk pkul 9, kiteorg decide nk pegi minum dkt tmpt lain.. but, we couldnt make it.. still got other commitments... hehe... So, itulah al-kisah Reunion.. Jom kite tgk gambar2 yg diclick n snap... ;)

durian vs baskin robbins

went to plaza shah alam with abah, mama, hubby n adik. actually, my abah nk tgk2 fruit festival dkt dpn plaza ni n we ended up eating musang king kong...hehe...yummy...baru first time mkn king kong...eyh i mean durian musang king yg tengah hangat diperkatakan nowadays..hehe..i rasa musang king ni rasa dia mcm durian...hehe...of course la kan..tapi serious ada rasa lain ckit..huu...x tau nk describe cmne..tapi sedap la..my dad beli sebijik rm50..pheww..nak rasa pnya pasal so xpe la...d best part is dpt berkenalan dgn durian kepala gajah..haa..mesti korg x pernah dgr kn..besar sgt2..nmpk mcm sarang tebuan pun ada jgk..hehe... then after mkn durian, my adk nk baskin robbins plak coz every 31st ada 31% off...so dun forget to head on to baskin robbins every 31st ya!...

Hye guysss!! Assalamualaikum..

Now nk smbung cite psl holiday... againnn?? duhhhh...hehe..x reti dduk diam sungguh kan?...
ok, 2 weeks after our visit to singapore, we went to CAMEROOOONNN for family trip..
but this time with my family in law plak.. have u been there?...best wooo cameroon..eyh tak2...CAMERON HIGHLANDS sebenarnya...hehe...we decided to go during weekdays, since its a school holiday, we think its better not to go during weekend! and we were absolutely right! Sbb mase pegi tu jln clear plus weather pun ok..! excited!! We reached there around 5pm. Biase la, dgn family mesti manyak pit stop.. (3 buah kereta).. smpai2, trus check-in dkt ROSE APARTMENT... located exactly at the back of KEA FARM... so klau nk pegi beli sayur tersgt lah sng... Check it out...

there are 4 rooms+3 toilets. n the price are quite affordable. rm500 for 2 nights! kire ok la kan... rating = 4 over 5. (almost perfect!) =) the first thing yg kteorg bwt ialah MEMASAK!! hehe.. masing2 dah lapar plus sgt sjuk... its freakin coldd ok!! igt mcm biase2 but i was wrong.. me n hubby xbwk pun sweater yg tebal2.. so mmg menggigil la sepanjang dkt sane...

hubby lwn PES dgn abg shah yg tgh sdut ape ntah... :P

our nephew. he just loves to smile... hehe. (suka cubit pipi die!)

lpas memasak n makan, kteorg pun tdo... hehe.. xla, disebabkan hari pun dh nk mlm, we decided to start our journey the next morning.. tp mlm tu still nk kluar cari brng2 masak... so mlm tu pegi tanah rata sbb dkt KEA FARM xde kedai runcit selain jual sayur-sayuran... fuhh.. mmg sgt sejukkk... 

9.40pm at tanah rata with my lil sis in law. ;) 

FYI, actually dkt tanah rata ni ade pasar malam. if korg ade nk beli souvenirs like cameron's t-shirt, pillow etc better beli dkt cni coz the price mmg agak murah. so for the first day kitorg xbyk sgt jln plus driver pun keletihan.. need to rest for tomorrow's journey!! wehuuu...

Day 2

The first thing that we wish to avoid in the morning was MANDI!! pijak lantai pun dah terasa ngilu smpai ke tulang rusuk... tsgt la sjukk... hehe.. bak kate hubby, mandi pkai water heater full throttle! pusing abis.. pun still xpanas sgt... haha.... +_+ anyway the journey is about to begin!!

first destination was Strawberry Point! things found : chocolates, tea bags, pillow etc.
